My name is Emily Paton. For a while, I went by Emily Anne (which is my middle name) in honour of my grandmother, who had past at the time. But you can just call me Emily for now. Or Little Miss Saturday, because that is the day that we are going to be getting to know each other here on Press Play Everyday.

 

Now, here is a little background. I was born on May 22nd, 1997 to my loving parents in the flatlands of Brandon Manitoba, which is in Canada (if you didn’t already know). After a couple years of living in Winnipeg (another town in Manitoba), we decided to pick up and move to London. And I don’t mean the cool place where ⅘ of One Direction are from, I mean London Ontario. (Which is pretty cool too, but there are no cool accents…) We left after a couple more years, but this time we had my little brother in tow. We ended up moving all the way across Canada to British Columbia, where we found the small town of Shawnigan Lake (which is actually on Vancouver Island...but you know..), where we have been ever since.

 

I’m graduating high school this year, and I intend on pursuing a career in the film industry, which means film school! But for now, I’m focusing on my YouTube career, my music (I’m a singer/songwriter, and I also play the ukulele), and graduating on time.

 

Now, a major part of my life. YouTube. I have been on YouTube for almost 6 years now, but I have had my current channel “missemilypaton” for over two year now, but I have been constantly uploading on Mondays and Fridays for a year now. I have always wanted to be in a collab channel, but I never found one that worked, until Press Play.

 

I’m so excited to be apart of this amazing channel, and I can’t wait to see what amazing things we do as a group, and wherever this amazing journey takes us. And thank you for coming along for the ride.
