Hello There,

 

My name is Sara I am your Sunday here on Press Play Everyday. I am 18 years old and I grew up on Vancouver Island in the Comox Valley. I am currently a Radio Arts & Entertainment student living in Vancouver, Canada. Essentially that means I am always listening to music and am that nerd who listens to the radio in the car instead of plugging my phone in. That also means I don’t think video killed the radio star, because I’m hoping that both video and radio will be in my future. Besides I’ve been told I have a face for radio…. :)

 

Storytelling has always been my passion, either through theatre, improv, writing, reading or making Youtube videos. I start many projects but so far scriptwriting and Youtube have been my most successful, as in I didn’t give them up after a month. I think I’ll stick to them for a while.

 

Last year I graduated high school and my friends and I were all overwhelmed with what we were going to do after graduation. I had plans to travel abroad, to go to school in Toronto, and even live in Australia. All of those may have been far fetched, and definitely not what I am doing now, but I am happy with my decisions. Which leads me to say the most important thing I have ever learned:

 

Work hard for what you want and everything else will fall into place, and if it doesn’t something else will.
